About the event

Proximity Crew presents, the second edition of 'Blame it on the boogie'. This year we go national, so inviting all the dancers that live in the name of Hip-Hop, all over India, to come, dance, have fun and support the scene.

BLAME IT ON THE BOOGIE

'Blame it on the boogie' is a Hip-Hop jam which was first organized in 2013 in remembrance of Michael Jackson by Proximity Crew.
This year we are going national with it and the judges for the event will be respected artists from the Indian dancing scene who have a good street-cred to their names.

'Breaking' Category : Bboy Bunny (Roc Fresh Crew, Mumbai)

'All-Style' Category : Zombie (Black Ice Crew, Bengaluru)

EVENT FORMAT

CATEGORIES :

• Breaking : 7 to Smoke
2 vs 2

• All-Style : 2 vs 2

Prize Money
Breaking:

7 to Smoke : INR 7,000/-
2 vs 2 : INR 10,000/-

All Style :

2 vs 2 : INR 10,000/-


RULES :

7 to Smoke - Each bboy will get a throwdown of 40 seconds, from which TOP 8 will be selected by the judge.
(i.e., if more than 8 bboys register for this category)

The bboy who wins 7 rounds straight or has the maximum number of wins in the given time limit will be adjudged the winner.

TIME LIMIT : 25 minutes

No throwdowns for the 2 vs 2 category.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

7 TO SMOKE : INR 300/-

2 VS 2 : INR 500/- (PER TEAM)

NOTE : Registration fees for the outstation participants will be INR 150/- for 7 TO SMOKE
INR 350/- for 2 VS 2(PER TEAM).

ENTRY FEE for audience : INR 250/-

NOTE : Entry fee is not applicable for participants.

** Any misbehavior at the venue will not be tolerated.
* Judges' decision will be final.
