  • About the event

    The Black Experience and Expo is part vendor expo, part entertainment event with the purpose of educating and entertaining the African-American consumer. We want to provide aone of a kind“Pop-Up Mall”retailexperience for sponsors and exhibitors where consumers can experience products in a non-traditional retail setting.Gerard “Jerry”Roebuckis the founder of the original Black Expo. In the 1990’s, at its peak, it grossed nearly $4 million, traveled to 16 cities across the country and attracted almost 500,000 attendees annually. In 2018, Mr. Roebuck has revived the expo concept under a new brand, The Black Experience and Expo.In 2019, the Black Experience and Expo will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center. In the heart of downtown Atlanta.

    Why should you sponsor?

    The goal is to provide a unique hands-on consumer experience showcasingthe latest in technology,fashion, beauty, food & beverage, and entertainment with a primary target audience that is majority African-American.Black consumers are speaking directly to brands in unprecedented ways and achieving headline-making results. Throughout 2017, popular brands witnessed the power of Black Twitter and the brand impact of socially conscious Black consumers. Through social media, Black consumers have brokered a seat at the table and are demanding that brands and marketers speak to them in ways that resonate culturally and experientially—if these brands want their business.
