Big Top Bash,

About the event

The Big Top Bash was created following the dissolution of the Indy Gaming League, one of the biggest hubs for online rocket league for the Grassroots of the game. It was particuarly important for the EU side of the game, with very few if any other leagues around supplying what the IGL offered. While other league such as RSC EU exist, there are no other bring your own team events occuring at this time. Big Top Bash exists to fill this void with what is beginning as a once a month 8 team tournament, currently capped at a Champ 3 level to encourage the Grass Roots. However, we plan to expand to bring 2 tournaments a month, one 8 team Champ 3 limit tournament followed by a 16 team uncapped tournament to attract the highest rated bubble teams in the EU scene.

We are also wanting to compensate the talent used in this tournament appropiatley, something not seen in the scene at this time. This include expanding in the future to provide a prizepool for the teams split between the top 2 or 3 teams and increasing Commentary and Produciton compensation to attract the finest talent to this competition

Having been in the gaming scene for most of my life, Rocket League is my true passion, and bringing this tournament to fruition is the culmination of this. Having been a caster for IGL and now RSC EU, I'm embedded within the scene and know what it needs. The growth of the EU grass roots is what is needed right now, and I fully believe the Big Top Bash will be instrumental to this as it grows, and forms partnerships with others within the scene through this growth.

On a personal note, I'm also a professional within the Media industry myself, currently working within an online focused news company, and a background in freelance editing and general media within the content creation space, so know how important sponsors are to both parties involved!
