After the success of our first ever Big Mother FlyING Car Show last year, with close to 300 cars showing up on a sunny but windy Saturday before Easter ( pictures can be viewed at http://www.deadrodz.com/bmfcs/big-mother-flying-car-show-2015/pictures/), we are happy to announce that we will be again working with No Dog Gets Left Behind! “No Dog Gets Left Behind provides financial support to reunite military personnel with the stray animals they found and bonded with while at war - a $4,500-per-pet proposition that includes vaccines, medical treatment, transportation and more. While the financial investment is high, the relief, comfort and joy this program provides soldiers is immeasurable.” -http://www.ndglb.org/

“ It really does TAKE A VILLAGE! NAZ is fully funded and will be trained as a PTSD Service Dog for Veteran Robert who was deployed to Afghanistan on several tours. Our heartfelt thanks to Dead Rodz Revival , Music for Mikki, The Art of It , Dogs Under Our Wings, The Dirty Oars and our generous fans for making this reunion possible! Veteran Robert writes. “I can't express how much it meant to have a dog show me affection overseas. What some people don't realize, is that for 7-10 months straight, while we are deployed, we go through the most extreme situations that you could ever imagine. We are constantly on edge and waiting for something intense to happen. We're a bunch of grown men and women, with amazing training and great friends surrounding us, but nobody to hug, nobody to hold and nobody to help us escape from the reality in which we are engulfed. The affection that those dogs gave us overseas was THE ONLY affection we received in 7-10 months. A hug, a lick, a cuddle all went a long way. It was undoubtedly the best momentary escape possible from our intense reality.” Thank you Veteran Robert for your service!”
