About the event
Scavenger Hunt for the “Benjamins”, the Ultimate Obstacle Race.
Benjamin Dash will be held at Historic Virgina Key Beach Park, Miami, Florida on October 29th 2016. This event will take place over a distance of 5 kilometers, 3.1 miles, containing:
- Flags everywhere (Money flags and Sponsor flags)
- 15+ obstacles
- Tons of mini games
- 3 massive color zones
- Dirt + Water = Mud
Don't forget to bring:
- 2 forms of identification(Please we do not want to turn you away from your cause)
- Extra Cash(Parking, Food, Vendors, Bag-drop, etc.)
-Change of clothes (Shirts, Pants, Socks, etc.)
-Checks will be issued 7-10 business days after the event. (For security purpose cash will not be given out at the event)

Miami, FL –October 29th, 2016 – When a scavenger hunt meets a
mud run you get the Benjamin Dash being held at Historic Virginia Key
Beach, Miami Florida on October 29th, 2016.
Three young entrepreneurs from Miami, Florida envisioned blending
the concepts of mud running, scavenger hunting and getting in action for a
cause whether it be for yourself or others.
This event will take place over a distance of 5 kilometers, 3.1 miles,
containing 15 obstacles. Throughout the entire course there will be
obstacles, some requiring pure physical ability and others that will demand
a more investigative approach. Participants will run, jump, climb, crawl and
use teamwork to help them move through the course quickly and efficiently.
The unique aspect of this mud run is that it incorporates a scavenger hunt
that requires both physical and mental perseverance to achieve success.
The scavenger hunt element of this event will incorporate flags which
are labeled with a bar code. Each flag will have a monetary value
consisting of $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, or $100. Throughout the course there
will be flags in plain sight and just as many strategically hidden to test the
runner’s awareness. At any given point, a runner can potentially be
surrounded by flags worth hundreds of dollars yet be unaware of them. To
acquire these flags, the runners will have to use a range of skills including
speed, strength, agility, and some unexpected teamwork. At the end of
each person’s wave, they will surrender their flags and will be informed of
the cumulative value of their flags. “This is where they will face their most
difficult obstacle; the decision of how to distribute their winnings” says
CoFounder Ryan Mohamed.
Charity is an important part of what makes Benjamin Dash so unique.
Throughout the race, there will be certain areas that will have charity
warriors. These charity warriors have the ability to grab runner’s flags off of
their belts and all the money obtained will go directly to the charity the
warrior represents. When a racer is informed of their winnings they can
decide to do one of three things: keep all winnings for themselves, donate it
all to the charity or charities of their choice, or keep a portion while donating
the rest to the charity of their choice.
Our goal at Benjamin Dash is to create a memorable fun filled day where
everyone has the opportunity to win. Community is essential to us!
Benjamin Dash encourages everyone to run for a cause. The runners
cause is entirely up to them, they can run for cancer, diabetes, aids, or
even run just to have enough money to put gas in their car.
We hope to unite the community with our unique way of getting in action for
your cause and giving back with the money earned.
