About the event

Our Believe Summer Camp Experience is a unique series of performing arts day camps that bring internationally-experienced instructors/directors from Los Angeles and N.Y. to work with students for 5 days.  Classes in acting, singing, dancing and culminating in a musical-variety stage show for the community.  "Using the performing arts to reach, inspire and unite youth and communities." We are changing lives through a compassionate and energetic approach. We just want to opportunity to reach more lives and communities.

My name is Bruce Sampson and this is my project!

I was born and raised in Bogalusa Louisiana.  Over the years, I have been blessed with opportunities to live out my dreams as an entertainer, writer, director, producer, recording artist and educator.

I have performed on professional stages all over the world and alongside some big names in the entertainment industry.  I have directed and taught young and old all across the United States as well as the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia. I've produced shows at Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and award-winning dinner theaters in Southern CA.  I've conducted after-school arts programs and arts summer camps in Southern CA!  I've produced annual singing competitions, cable television shows, radio programs, and adjudicated talent competitions and more!

Now, I have lived out another dream!  I wrote a new show and summer camp concept called "BELIEVE" that I took to my hometown of Bogalusa, Louisiana and neighboring city of Slidell, Louisiana during the summer of 2014. 

I brought along some extremely gifted and experienced young instructors/directors who are committed to this vision and want to share their gifts as well.  I am honored and excited to have had this team of talented and dedicated people working with me on this project!

The camps were so successful that we returned this past year and added a community in Mississippi.  We are already in plans to make this an annual event in Louisiana and expanding to other areas, including China (We are taking a group to conduct two Shanghai camps in January 2016).
