About the event

The Luxembourg Bear Pride is a set of festivities and cultural activities to promote the Great Duchy of Luxembourg beyond his border, to the gay bear community (read more about the gay bear community on Wikipedia : https://goo.gl/sfWT45).
We wish to attract an international public, coming from France, Belgium, Germany, but also from Italy, Spain, and Netherlands. In this set of m, the Mr. Bears of these countries had invited and all confirmed their attendance at our event. This, mixed with the advertisement they will surely make in their respective local communities, will let us wait up to 400 during the entire weekend.

Why should you sponsor?

Organizing such event is a challenge for all of us, in terms or coordination as well as financing. We really want to deliver the best organisation of the whole weekend to our guest, to give them the better and the most positive view of Luxembourg as a welcoming and enjoyable country.

Helping us in this goal, with a donation in kind or in cash will be also for you a strong message of support for the bear and the entire LGBT community, in the european scale.

We're a bunch of people, a group of friends, who want to organise parties for the bear community, mainly in Luxemburg, to get into the local nightlife renewal. Our first concept, the "WOOF Men-only party" attract every two months up to 200 peoples in Luxembourg. We don't exclude to go outside the Great Duchy and we already organize "Woof men only party" in Saarbrücken.

Everything start when a group of people who identify themselves to the gay bear community had the willing to make a different kind of party, with a specific vibe, a soul which lead attract men who don't find something appealing to the traditional gay parties which are a little bit too lollipop and glitters. We start to organize an informal event in a bear bar in Luxembourg in December 2015, and it escalate pretty quickly since from 40 expected people we were about 150 from all the greater region. 

So we organize another party, this time in may 2016 the 1st "Woof Men Only Party" with the help of the Letz go Gay Luxembourg ASBL, used to making great gay clubbing party in Luxembourg, to validate the concept. Once again, we overcome our objective by having near 200 peoples which didn't come, for the many of them, to other traditional gay parties which already exist like Fairytails or Welcome to the jungle.
