Beach Volleyball Tournament for Charity,

About the event

Help us raise money for the George Mark Children's House! 

We will be holding a Beach Volleyball tournament on Saturday, April 22nd at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. The teams will be made up of 4 players each, with a $5 per player registration fee. 100% of the proceeds will go to the George Mark Children's House as a donation from Phi Gamma Chi sorority. 

Our goal is to raise at least $500 from this event, and any help would be so greatly appreciated.

ABOUT THE CAUSE:

The George Mark Children's House is a Bay Area based home for children with life-limiting, terminal and incurable illnesses. The home runs solely on donations and seeks to provide different care and services to children and their families in a comforting environment that combines home and hospital. ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION:

Phi Gamma Chi is a sorority on the campus of San Francisco State University. We are local, multicultural and philanthropic with a focus of empowering young women and preparing them for the professional world.

Why should you sponsor?

We are a small organization and we fundraise all of our own money every semester. We are hoping to donate at least $1000 to the George Mark Children's House by June, which unfortunately is a very high aim for a tiny organization such as ourselves. This is the first semester we are partnering with the George Mark Children's House, and we would love to be able to make a contribution to their incredible cause.

My name is Haley Perry, and I am the president of Phi Gamma Chi sorority. I am a junior at San Francisco State University, studying Journalism and International Relations. I have a passion for community service and philanthropy, which is why I work so hard as the chair of our sorority's Philanthropy Committee.
