About the event

BE KIND refers to self, family, community, country and the world. We first have to be kind to our surroundings, before we start making changes to the world we live in. BE KIND to one another is often said, but what can we do to start making a conscious effort in being kind. This encourages positive comportment as we are a nation that is suffering from poor mental health.

This Fest aims to host Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Non-Profit and Social Enterprises showcase their Causes that support local or Malaysian related/based issues. This is to create awareness, gain more participants, sign-up volunteers, get donation pledges and more. It’s a festival because, we believe in making “noise” where it matters and playful engagement is key.

Be KIND is in line with the United Nation 2030 agenda of achieving Sustainable Development Goals. We aim to start making conscious choices that provide solutions to our local issues, that could change and impact the World.

We aim to design an event that unifies people under one banner, one goal. BE KIND FEST’s intention is to get people to be part of a solution, not just the conversation. It’s DO SOMETHING because YOU CAN, instead of just scrolling through their news feeds. Tangible takeaways from this event would impact a movement for change and imbibes empathy that actions that revolution.
