About the event
Relay For Life is Cancer Council’s overnight community event and your chance to give Hope to 12 million Australians touched by cancer.
Teams get together to raise money and then take it in turns to walk around a track at an overnight event – symbolising that cancer doesn’t sleep, so neither do we!
You can stay for the whole event, do a shift on the track or just visit and enjoy the entertainment, prizes and ceremonies that make Relay For Life so inspirational.
The money raised helps Cancer Council save lives by funding research and support services.

Through Relay For Life there is Hope.Every step you take helps Cancer Council save lives by funding groundbreaking research to discover cancer causes and cures. By supporting our event you are also helping those facing cancer by raising funds for free services like accommodation and transport.

We are all passionate about making a contribution to the fight against cancer. The cure may not be found in our local community - but it will be funded by our community!
