About the event
Our event is a basketball tournament in Amarillo,Texas. It is hosted by our Coaching staff and parents. All of the proceeds go towards tournament fees, equipment and travel for two youth basketball teams, Amarillo Thunder 9th and 7th grade boys.
Why should you sponsor?
A little back story, we have 7 boys between the two teams that come with little to no financial input. They completely rely on fundraising, or sponsorship to be able to play ball. We travel to play in areas like Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, and of course, Texas. We have a huge tournament that we are attending in August. MAYB Nationals had over 930 boys teams participate last year in Wichita, Kansas and this year is expected to be even bigger. Traveling to these tournaments gets them the exposure and experience they need. It also keeps quite a few boys off the streets. We appreciate your consideration for a sponsorship!
Tracy JohnsonMy name is Tracy Johnson, I am the team mom. Most of the boys actually call me "Mom" and I would do anything for them to see them succed. My husband is the Coach for both of these teams and is a volunteer coach. He does not get paid to do this and I do not get paid to organize everything. Our two oldest play for this team. We have been Amarillo Thunder since 2015 and are Respected and very well known in the basketball community here in Amarillo. We have spent countless hours/days/years getting these teams to where they are and they are the top teams in Amarillo. Thank you for considering making a difference in our team. We appreciate you!

Your name/Logo will also be placed on our travel banner to be displayed at each tournament The Amarillo Thunder basketball teams participate in for the remainder of the 2019 season as well as this event. You will also receive a "Thank you" team plaque for display at your business showing your support.
