About BargetoBusiness &Riverdating
Established in 2010, BargetoBusiness is a two­‐days conference encouraging the use of inland waterway transport in
multimodal supply chains across Europe.
Riverdating is a platform regrouping over 100 exhibitors. The event offers the possibility to meet all important actors of the
sector over a period of two days and to arrange meetings through a matchmaking software used during registration.

Mission
Research and market feedback have shown that the world of inland navigation is seen as opaque and difficult to penetrate.
This is why the event serves as a meeting platform for all the actors of multimodal transport interested in waterway transport: institutions, operators, shippers and logistics service providers.
The objective is to develop dialogue, networking and business, and above all, continuously improve the sector.

The event organisers
The European Logistics Advisors Network (ELAN) has taken the lead in raising important subjects that concern the sector
of multimodal transport in Europe. ELAN is a European project without commercial interest, that brings together waterway operators and promotion agencies: Voies navigables de France (VNF), Inland Navigation Europe (INE), PANTEIA/NEA, Promotie Binnenvaart Vlaanderen (PBV), Stichting Bureau Voorlichting Binnenvaart (BVB), Service Public de Wallonie (SPW), Ministère du Transport et du Développement Durable au Luxembourg and via donau Österreichische Wasserstraßen-­GmbH.
ELAN’s members promote more waterway transport to shippers and supply chain managers in order to relieve the loads and make transport more sustainable.
