About the event

Who we are

Nicole Charles Event Planning is a family owned and operated business. The owner is Alnisa Nicole Washington I am single mother with a Bachelor’s degree in Business specializing in Administration. I am also pursuing my Master’s degree in Justice Studies with a concentration in Public Administration. I am very excited about building this business to its greatest potential. I have created an event to kick off our return to planning and catering. This event is called Bar Bash 2015.

The Event

Bar Bash 2015 is an event for Bar owners, bartenders, cooks and chefs to flex their muscles in front of a crowd. We are interested in the artistic abilities of these professionals as well as the flavor of their food and beverage. We would like to kick off the holiday season with our rich culture and creativity. Promoting professions like bartending, becoming chefs or cooks are noble professions.

Bar Bash 2015 is also going to bring history to the barkeep and the appetizer making. Why do we have bartenders or bar keeps? Who knew wings would be an all-time favorite?

Our patrons who desired to be in attendance will also have an opportunity to take home fantastic prizes as well as taste the wonders of our city.

Responsibility

This event is also geared towards educating people on consumption, symptoms of alcohol poisoning, fetal alcohol syndrome and much more. While we are there to have a great time, we also want to be safe and responsible.

Community

Community responsibility, 10 percent of the proceeds will go to charity. I want to build a center that will illuminate the arts. The center will have theatre, dance, music and culinary arts in addition to being a center for after school learning. Programs like these builds character and our community. I believe if we keep our children motivated and show them that there is no limit. They will not limit themselves to what they can do.

In addition, this event will bring more tourists to the Charleston area and help promote businesses in our community. Nicole Charles Events Planning is dedicated to giving back and allowing education through service

Competition

This competition is not only will the winner get bragging rights but the winner will get the grand prize of $800.00. My target audience is 21 and over, food lovers especially appetizers and those who enjoy a relaxing beverage and a good time.
