About the event

Too often kids go to school unprepared due to financial situations.

We have a chance to give them a great start by supplying them with fresh haircuts and a few supplies to get them motivated. While at the same time educating them on being healthy and educating their parents on the importance on having health insurance without lapse in coverage. My goal is to supply free back to school haircuts and education on the importance of Health Insurance and staying healthy to young school aged kids.Our target is a low income community where most kids wont be able to get haircuts before school therefore boosting their self esteem and readiness for school.. While at the same educating them and their parents about the importance of having health insurance and staying healthy. We would also have onsite Certified Application Counselors on site to help with the Insurance part of it.

 We would like to provide healthy snacks and drinks while they wait to get their hair cut. And also like to provide a goody bag with pencils,crayons,folder, and a notebook. In their goody bags Health Information will also be included.
