About the event
Event Planning:
Australia summer begins in the month of November and ends in the month of February; because of this time schedule we are looking to have the festival in the month of February. This will coincides with Australia end of summer. We are scheduling the events in two major cities in Australia Sidney and Melbourne Australia, with an estimate population size of 30,000 a venue.
We are searching for enough sponsorship money to be able to secure a major artist for the event. We feel that in order to secure a major artist we will need half of the of the artist asking price for the festival. Because we are looking to make this a very big event we are planning to approach an artist along the caliber of a Drake or Chris Brown and estimate that the going price will be in the range of 1 million a show. It is common practice to secure an artist for a show the promoter is to pay the artist half of the show price. We are reaching out to sponsors in order to secure the million for the 1st artist. Once the 1st artist is secured for the show, we will then use the pre-sales for tickets in order to pay the ending bill with the 1st artist and to secure a 2nd major artist for the festival. We will also make it a full show by filling in spots with underground artist to give them a chance to grow their fan base.
We are very excited about how this project is shaping up at this time. Our goal is to rally participation for major corporations by way of sponsorship. Your support will contribute to full sponsorship for event attendance, in addition to making the ticket prices as low as possible. Because our resource is limited we are turning to corporate funding in order to develop a strong event.
