About the event
The 25th year of Asia-Pacific Model United Nations 2019 (AMUNC) will be proudly held in Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). This year, AMUNC aims to offer not only intellectual conference experiences for delegates coming from diverse background and culture, but also get a taste of the vibrant city of Singapore. The conference will last for a period of one-week filled with committee sessions, socials and trips around some places of Singapore.
It is a conference for everyone! For the new delegates to MUN, it will definitely be a wonderful starting point. For the experienced delegates it will help to sharpen your Model UN skills of debating and engagement. We are looking to engage around 600-800 youths from around the world in this conference.

Yushan DengYushan is a sophomore in NUS reading a double major in Political Science and Economics. She served as the Business Director and Model United Nations (MUN) Trainer of the Political Science Society in NUS last year, and has decided to relinquish her duties to focus on AMUNC and other heavier commitments this year instead.

Her recent encounters with MUN in 2017 and 2018 saw her chairing conferences in countries and cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Indonesia, as well as bringing home the Best Delegate/Diplomacy awards at AMUNC, PAMUN and TMUN. She has also served as USG Outreach for SMUN 2018 and USG Academics for the pioneer edition of AWMUN.
Outside of MUN, she can be found sketching her life away or singing horribly. She also loves her puns and terrorising people with them, and can't wait to meet each and everyone of you at a conference that goes beyond just debate and policy drafting. AMUNC 2019 will focus on delegate development, and aims to do so through a series of activities that are usually not found in your standard conferences. The conference also seeks to indulge delegates in high standards of professionalism, from the conference venue to quality of debates and social events.
