About the event

The event is a platform for creatives to showcase their skills. Artists, performers and designers all come together to the sound of music, food, drinks and good fun. At the end of each event, I donate to a foundation. Currently, I am planning to start a fund for an Art & Rhymes Scholarship. The goal is to use proceeds from the events to raise 2 $500 scholarships for deserving seniors at a performing arts school in Hartford.

Why should you sponsor?

I am all for giving back. As I stated, I give to foundations after my event, I plan on doing this event 2 times yearly as well as holding fundraisers in the summer to assist with back to school for parents. I believe that anyone who will see how amazing this can be will believe in what I hope to achieve. I want to provide an amazing opportunity for many more creatives to come.

I am an artist out of Hartford ,CT. Over a year I have been a part of many art shows and I longed for the opportunity to do the same for others. In February 2016 I came up with "Art & Rhymes" and had my first event in April. As an 18+ event I saw about 150 people in and out in the 4 hour event time. It was amazing. I provided an opportunity for young creatives to showcase their skills. Everything from fine art, street art, poetry, hiphop and design.
