About the event
“We’re ready to Rock!” The Judy Nicholson Foundation is excited to invite you or your business to participate in our Art for Hope, Battle of the Bands being held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Riverside Arts Market. We are asking for your support by sponsoring or participating in our event. The proceeds from this event are necessary for the funding of the Judy Nicholson Foundation which helps to fund kidney cancer research and provide support to kidney cancer survivors. High school bands will play live music for a chance to win studio recording time. Student fourth and fifth grade artists will exhibit artwork hoping to win gift cards and placement of their artwork in the local museum and key businesses throughout the year. The community will come together to support local student artists and musicians and at the same time advocate and raise money for kidney cancer awareness, support and research. The event will be all day.
