About the event
Antibullying fundraising event at Rad Skatepark in Mendon, MA. The jam will include bmx riders, skateboarders, scooter riders, etc. The event is to bring awareness of the bullying epidemic that has taken over the youth of today. We host the event for families and youth to come and have fun in a constructive manner. There are different contests and giveaways that attract many riders to these events. We have successfully hosted two previous events, one at Impact Skatepark in Rhode Island, and the other at Rye Airfield Skatepark in New Hampshire. We are working to get these events to reach a higher publicity in order to attract more families and help introduce youth to the sports. We have set up a fundraiser called "Bikes and Boards for Bullied Youth", which raises money to provide youth who have been bullied with new Bmx, skate, and scooter equipment. By providing this equipment, we are helping to give kids a distraction and outlet from the bullying. We hope to induct these kids into our community and give them a sense of purpose and accomplishment.
