About the event

WHO WE ARE:

Established in 2011, The SOAR Foundation is an 501(c)3 non-profit organization that advances the social and economic empowerment of youth through enabling them to reach their fullest potential by developing leadership responsibility and life skills through extensive learning programs and positive youth development approaches.  Our long-term vision is that all youth will have the character and skills needed to become productive, responsible, and fulfilled community leaders.

WHAT WE DO IN THE COMMUNITY:

The foundation is dedicated to provide scholarships, internships and career workshops to promote entrepreneurial skills to disadvantage youth who possess a hunger for business and wish to continue their education. We are raising a new generation of social entrepreneurs and leaders who will address the very real challenges facing their communities with vision, dedication and innovation.  Below are a few examples of what we do within the community.

•  Work with children shelters (Privacy Act…Non Disclosed)
•  Work with Colin Powell’s Charity (America’s Promise of Youth Alliance) 
•  Back to School Drives with local churches 
•  Coat Drives with local communities 
•  Entrepreneurial workshops with disadvantage youth 

UPCOMING EVENTS

We have joined forces with the Dreamz Do Come True Foundation to host a Scholarship Crab Feast Fundraiser at the Maryland Blue Crabs stadium.  SOAR and the Dreamz Do Come True Foundation are working together to ensure that our youth understand that they can be whatever they dare to dream reaching higher heights above what they could have ever imagined.

We need your help.  We are seeking donations that will help cover cost, provide scholarships for area youth, as well as school supplies. Your contribution will assist us in helping to change our youth from old mind-sets and develop a mind of excellence to reach their full potential.  Within this packet you will find information on how you can support this great cause.  We thank you in advance for your consideration. 

The FEAST is an “all-you-care-to-eat” extravaganza with plenty of crabs and other food options, cold beer and wine, live DJ and family-fun activities. 
Participants can take in all that the Maryland Blue Crabs Stadium has to offer, check out local vendors, PRIZES, Giveways, Kickball Tournament and listen to a LIVE DJ!

VIP Ticketholders will enjoy the FEAST in the VIP Legends Club with extra seating space, receive a FREE gift, and will have access to our Dessert Bar!
Unlimited beer and wine can be purchased for an additional $25 per person

Crab Feast Fun Day VIP Ticket: $75 (in advance), $85 (on-site)
Unlimited Beer & Wine with any ticket: additional $25
Kids Ages 6-12: $40
Kids Ages 5 and under: FREE!
