Chief Guest:
The chief guest for this year’s conference is musician Rabbi Shergill who will talk about his passion for music and his journey learning rock and pop. Rabbi is noted for his 2005 hit song “Bullah ki Jaana” and his appearances on MTV Unplugged and other shows, as well as his work on Indian films.
Presenters/Speakers
WMEA was formed by Natalie Sarrazin PhD, Executive Director, Anjli Mata, President, Ritesh Khokhar, Vice President in 2015, in order to address the lack of support for music education and educators in India, and is confident that through its relationship with NAfME, it will provide education, training, resources, and tools through NAfME’s vast resources (publications, online webinars, research, and advocacy). Recently, Ms. Mata and Mr. Khokhar travelled to the US to attend the NAfME National Assembly. They also joined in the Hill Day initiative to lobby Congress for support of music education, seeing, first hand, how music education advocacy works in the United States..
