About the event

Our healthcare system is being inundated with technology and data to address the seemingly endless issues that arise daily. As the President of Entreprenuers in Healthcare at NSU Health Professions Division, I believe that the best solutions to our nations healthcare issues are through interdisciplinary colloboration and cooperation of the multiple elements that make up our healthcare system.

Our event is a unique opportunity to promote colobaration between future physicians, pharmacists, dentists, and various other healthcare providers. We will be bringing in keynote speakers from various areas of healthcare who can speak to innovation within their niche. There will be a Q&A session afterwards, dinner and drinks will be provided and our venue is TBD. The goal is to eventually be an annual event that brings together top thinkers in healthcare, connect them with the future (students) so that unique and innovative solutions streamline the high volume of information flooding our healthcare system.

As a sponsor for our event you will be part of one of the only organizations in all of Southern Florida whose goal is to promote interdisciplinary solutions to healthcare problems. 

We are a new organization, but are composed of over 80 students from all disciplines of healthcare. We have tremendous potential and more importantly the horsepower to create change at the local and eventually national level.

Assad Ali

My name is Assad Ali, I am the founder and President of Entrepreneurs in Healthcare at NOVA Southeastern University Health Professions Division. Throughout my whole life I have worked hard to accumulate a diverse set of experiences that will not only help me develop into a better physician, but leader, and human being. I believe in genuine interactions between people, trust, honesty, and integrity are big values of mine. Through the many experiences I accumulated before attending medical school, I learned that with the right motivation and direction people truly can have limitless potential. 

As a medical student I work hard every single day, studying medicine and the landscape of healthcare. I aspire to be a neurosurgeon, and eventually get involved with public policy. My goals and ambition are what drive me every day, and if I can spread this energy to others I will have accomplished my job in this world.
