About the event

The Ameripolitan Music Awards, spearheaded by internationally acclaimed Texas Troubador, Dale Watson, were established as an annual celebration devoted to acknowledging and honoring the Ameripolitan music genre. Ameripolitan music is defined as original music with prominent roots influence, encompassing four subgenres of music (honky-tonk, western swing, rockabilly, and outlaw) that did not previously fit into any celebrated categories within the mainstream pop country music industry.^[1][2] The awards are funded predominantly by fan supported donations and include 16 different award categories, with special honorary awards also presented.

ACES MEDIA SOLUTIONS was founded in Round Rock, Texas by Scott Bennett. He began life as a baby DJ and drummer and evolved into a voice-over artist and producer. He currently leads ACES MEDIA with a team of creative, talented and hard working individuals. When he is not working with clients, he still likes to DJ, play the drums and annoy the neighbors. Scott currently sits on the executive board of MDA Central Texas and can be heard weekdays mornings on the legendary KOKE FM.
