About the event

The Ladies of Alpha Phi Gamma are proud to announce our 11th Annual Miss Asia this November!

Alpha Phi Gamma is an Asian-Interest sorority founded by seven lovely ladies February 1, 1994. The sorority strives to promote sisterhood, service, academic excellence, personal development, and Asian awareness. Although Alpha Phi Gamma is an Asian-interest sorority, its sisters believe strongly in the importance of diversity and accept women of all nationalities.

What is Miss Asia? Miss Asia is not just any pageant, but a cultural pageant which women are able to exceed in their talents. To participate in Miss Asia, one must be a female student of Northern Illinois University of Asian decent. These contestants are competing to receive not only the title of Miss Asia 2015-2016, but a scholarship of $400 that they receive after one year worth of requirements. 

We kindly ask for anyone to sponsor our event, and help us support the lovely ladies participating, the judges, and even help connect with the audience the day of the show. With sponsors, we would love to help advertise your brand name by adding your company into the dedication books, and all social media connected with the event. With over 100 students excited to attend, many young minds will be able to learn about the follow sponsors, and can open doors for more opportunities and exposure.
