About the event

Event: Alfred Smart Home & Friends?

Aim: Smart Home Education

Target: Press, Supplier, Businesses.

The event will be distributed in 2 spaces. 

1st. Smart Home - We’ll recreate a house space in which there will be furnitures and everything it’s needed to make it look like a real house. The companies interested in showcasing their devices will provide devices (connected between them through Alfred Smart Home) that will be placed in the house and used for real time demonstration. We’d like to have Screens all around the space to give real time consumption (Based on feedbacks that we’ve received from the previous event) we’ll focus the attention on our unique value proposition, but also on the single devices dashboards. We’ll let people interact with the devices through smartphones and tablet that will be positioned in different places of the house. 

How will we guide them along the space? We’ll use the Localz beacons and with the help of TwoBulls (companies that we’ll be partnering with for this event, we’ll create a guided tour with the gesture enabled (probably). 

2nd. Party. How do we make a connected home event funny? Interactions with the smart home doesn’t need to be “only” instructive, it has to be an unforgettable experience, people has to remember the event as one of the best event they’ve ever been at. How do we do it? Live jazz music, of course drinks and food and connected home experiments, social experiments and test on how it affect the mood. 

We would need a space big enough to host 100-150 people considering that half of the space will be occupied by a smart home concept (That will be build together with Brooks Atwood [85%], an architect,that recently showed his interest in participating).
