Afrikan Cultural Festival UK 2017

Amani Entrepreneurs UK (AEUK) in conjunction with Event Organizers in the UK has teamed up to bring an all day family event to celebrate the vibrant African Culture. This will be the launch to the annual festival we shall be celebrating in May to celebrate Africa Day in the UK. The diversity and the strong links between Africa and the United Kingdom, and the current trends of Global inspired art, music and cuisine, make it a perfect opportunity to celebrate African Culture in the UK.

We are seeking your support in helping to raise funds for the Afrikan Cultural Festival event. The event is a fundraiser and any funds raised will be invested into programs of Amani Entrepreneurs UK Ltd. AEUK aims to empower women and young people to develop as individuals making a positive contribution to the community. This achieved by providing women and the youth with access to good quality training, activities and supporting them to realize their own projects and ideas.

AEUK meets its aims through focusing its work on the under privileged, women and youth initiatives that address community needs and in benefiting others, provide them with a sense of citizenship and community responsibility. Our work is focused in London and the surroundings and has a high local profile.

Our activities prepare young people for life and work by combining education and activities. Our focus is to generate in women and young people a sense of responsibility and ownership for their projects and to support their progress.

AEUK encourages the involvement of women and young people from all sections of the community (especially the underprivileged) and ensure that all have equal opportunity to participate regardless of gender, religious beliefs, ethnic background, disability or sexual preference.

Celebrating Africa’s Vibrant Culture

This is a celebration of African food, music and art. There will be motivational speeches, a lot of children’s activities and entertainment which will include fashion show, youth dance crews, performers from different African Countries, vendors and exhibitors showcasing culture, tourism, food, export and sports.

Investments and Fashion will all be executed through iconic products and exhibiting opportunities throughout the day.

My name is Cyprinne Abanda; I am one of the organisers of Afrikan Cultural Festival UK. We are seeking your support in helping to raise funds for the Afrikan Cultural Festival, an event organised by Amani Entrepreneurs UK Ltd to help raise funds for programmes and events to empower women and youth in the community.

The Afrikan Cultural Festival event will be held at the Newham Leisure Centre on Saturday 26^th August 2017, of which we are expecting over 2500 people to attend.

 

The projects are to help increase the integration of women and young people within the community through women and youth led projects, our services reflect the identified needs within the community.
