About the event

This is a dating event for African Professionals that live in cities around the world to promote our African Dating App called Hello Africa!!

We are based in LA and are hosting another one of our Dating Mixer events. We have extensive reach to over 10,000 people in entire African and Caribbean markets via email lists and social media partnerships. 

We are looking for an alcohol sponsor interested in working with us to reach our target demographic.

We are a growing online and offline community of professional First and Second generation Africans and African immigrants who value social gatherings with one another. My team and I are close friends and partners with some of the leading African centric organizations here in LA and abroad. organizations like Amplify Africa and Afro City which represents well over 10,000 loyal people who frequently attend African gatherings.

I'm a Nigerian American woman who received my Bachelors from the U. of Michigan and my Doctorate of Law from the U. of Wisconsin. I've been in LA for over 6 years and live in Los Angeles. I am a litigation attorney by day and socialite at night! 

Culture means everything to me, and growing up around other Africans like myself I knew how dire the need was for our African community to have something for us that would allow us to preserve our culture and identity.  Building a start-up has been the most rewarding project I have embarked on in my career. To be able to take an idea and then turn it into a product that people can use has been truly fulfilling and I look forward to this journey we are on.
