About the event

The whole purpose behind the business is to empower women to be women. The goal is to bring adventure, wonder, dreams and passion back into each and every one of us again. Hard working mothers, employees, ceos, owners, travelers, bloggers, musicians and so on. Everyone has a passion, a dream, a risk that want to take…but so seldom we take it. We want to meet everyone where they are and bring back their adventure…"making Adventure a Standard way of life". :]  We have been in touch with a lot of women to give encouraging words, help build their dreams and start telling those stories through video. We are excited for whats ahead but mostly excited to meet more awesome women and tell their stories.

Why should you sponsor?

Adventure Standard is supported entirely on donations from people like you. True to its name, this buisness cannot exist unless people share some of what they have in order to make it happen.

But why do we even need Adventure Standard?

For some women, adventure is a standard part of life. But for others it’s not. For the ones that want to share their adventure and don’t know how…all the way to women that forgot about their dreams. We help pour into women and their dreams, passions and make that a standard. We want to awaken the dreams back into reality. Making their impossible, …well possible. (That’s the short version at least).

It is our mission to give women the tools they need to explore, create, and demand the standard of adventure in their lives.

Leann Pickard

I wanted an avenue to create an environment, a space that could inspire, empower, bring on creativity, share dreams and increase vision. A community that could be powerful and strong. So, I built Adventure Standard to do just that. My background is a BA in Graphic Design. I have worked in technology for over 10 years building and helping start ups grow their businesses. 

I have found it difficult sometimes to work as a woman in technology and still be inspired or empowered with creativity. I want to give back and I hope you will choose to join me!
