About the event

Please find below details about "Mr. and Miss NMIMS" event:

Aaghaz, which is a warm welcome to the juniors by Nepathya, will take place on 1st of August.  Here we keep competitions like singing (group and solo) dancing (group and solo), drama competition, talent showcase, and of course good old DJ to create a night filled with entertainment!

This is a new initiative taken by Nepathya- The Cultural Cell of NMIMS, stretched over 3 weeks it contains 3 rounds as follows

Round 1: Online forms floated to the batch asking out of box questions. They need to submit the hard copy of the form along with that one of their Picture with a tagline describing them. After that, they will be judged based on their answers on certain parameters.

Round 2: This round will comprise of two sub rounds. First one is Talent Showcase, where each Participant will be given the opportunity to showcase their talent, the Second one will include a sexy photo shoot of the contenders done by the photography team of NMIMS, Xplore where they have to justify the title of Mr. and Miss NMIMS via the shoot.

Round 3: This round will happen during Aaghaz (Our Intra college cultural event) A question & answer round along with ramp walk will take place. They will be scored by the judges. The cumulative score of round 2 and 3 will tell us the winner!!!

Why should you sponsor?

Promotion of the Events-

1. Everyday post on our Social Media Account (Facebook, Insta etc.). 

2. As it is an Intra B-School event, Pitching about the event by Nepathya Committee in every class and Course present in NMIMS Mumbai.

3. Flash Mob to create buzz about the event in the College by the College Dance Team, Zephyr.

4. Mailers are being sent regularly to keep the enthusiasm going among the students.

5. Posters/Banners in classes and the college to keep the buzz going.

6. A daily message is being sent to the Whatsapp group of each Division of various Courses (MBA Core, HR, Pharma, E&FB).

7. In order to spread the word about the events, not just in the college but also outside, Nepathya members have changed their Dp to the Event Poster. This will help to increase the awareness.

8. With a reach of 3000 Students in the college, word of mouth is another way used for promoting the event.

I am a first year MBA student at the very reputed B-school of India, NMIMS Mumbai.

I am presently a junior committee member of Nepathya which is the cultural cell of NMIMS. We organize many inter and intra college events throughout the year, Aaghaz being the first of them.
