About the event

"I as well as many other people around the world have seen the images that come from an unjust war in Ukraine. That is why I'm now trying to gather enough supply and funding to drive down to the Polish/Ukraine border and keep going into Ukraine helping people getting to the border and helping people with supply."

So who am I?

- My name is Tommy Carlsson and I am 32 years old. I am a qualified nurse with first aid training and knowledge. Have a long experience in the health care sector where it started already in my teenage years.- I as well as many other people around the world have seen the images that come from an unjust war in Ukraine. Where more than 1.5 million people have fled just to the border over to Poland. Many many more are fleeing the violence in Ukraine.

So instead of sitting here at home and feeling like I can't contribute in a productive way, I'm trying to raise enough money to go down and help as much and as many as I can.

Goal:
- To be able to provide aid to those affected by the horrific war in Ukraine.
- Assist with travel to the Polish border.- Transporting liquids, food, medicine and other supplies across the border to Ukraine.

Approach:
- Load the car full of supplies donated by friends and family.
NO TURN AROUND WILL BE DONE WITH EMPTY CAR!

- Travel from Helsingborg via Malmö over the Oresund Bridge to Denmark and then take the ferry across from Rödby to Puttgarden.

From Puttgarden down to the border town of Korczowa.
- Collect information there and talk to the local volunteer organization. Then head into Ukraine.

- The goal is to help those fleeing the country on foot.

- Help these refugees with the help of car to get to/near the Polish border.

- On the way from the border the car is loaded with medicine, water, food, blankets and other forms of supplies.
