A Night Under The Stars,

About the event

A ticketed fundraising event to raise as much money for the Charlie Teo Foundation as possible in memory of a late friend who passed away to a rare brain tumour.

Guests will be treated to a 4/5 hour cruise around Sydney Harbour with a full drinking and dining package included in their admission ticket. There will be further drinks to purchase on the night along with a silent auction and raffle which will take place throughout the night.

The event will be acknowledge and spread widely through connections at the 'Top 4' Banks and Accountancy firms in Australia, along with previous colleagues and friends at both SME and organisation's in Sydney which have a global present including LinkedIn, Google, The Iconic, AMEX, GumTree and WeWork, to name a few. The goal is to sell a minimum of 90 tickets with a maximum capacity on board of 120.

We are working on getting a guest speaker to the event to announce the winners of the night.

Other entertainment options are TBC at this stage and open to suggestions from sponsors.

Gift bags are also TBC for guests to take away at the end of the night.

Why should you sponsor?

The Charlie Teo Foundation brings hope to people affected by brain cancer. They do this by funding innovative brain cancer research to develop better treatments that will extend life and eventually find a cure.

They help to raise awareness and support in the fight against brain cancer.

The charity paves a different approach because it is committed to running a low cost, lean and efficient charity to maximise the funding of brain cancer research.

I want to do everything possible to make this a night to remember as it is for a very good friend who passed away after only learning he had less than 9 months to live before his 40th birthday.

A day before he was due to run the London marathon.

The Charlie Teo Foundation are doing everything right and paving the way for leading brain cancer research, therefore, any company which sponsors I would love to be apart of the night and see how they are helping to make a difference.

My name is Jen and I have set myself the target to raise as much funds this year as possible for the Charlie Teo Foundation after my friend passed away 10 months ago to a tragic, rare brain tumour. 

He was due to come visit me and celebrate New Year under the stars in Sydney last year but due to ongoing treatment this wasn't possible, so I have made it my mission that in his honour and memory, we will still do this with him in spirit and fighting for a good cause so other families do not have to suffer what his have.

New to organising Charity events, I feel out of my depth with taking this on but I feel like unless you plunge into the deep end then you won't find out if you will succeed in pulling this off and I am 100% confident that I can.

What's more is I completely trust the work the Charlie Teo Foundation are doing and it is an honour to be collaborating with them and making this event come alive.

I want to work with you to help find a solution as to why and how you should get involved so no package or deal is set in stone and I can be flexible to find the best way of helping everyone out.
