    Music and Fashion go together like love and marriage, and like any industry, they find innovative ways of thriving through collaboration. With A Halloween Affair, we will be infusing fashion with Hip-Hop and R&B to provide guests with a unique party experience. Part of our mission for A Halloween Affair will be to provide exposure for local talent while also giving back to the local community. In keeping with this mission, A Halloween Affair will feature the designs of emerging designers in the DC area and will provide a platform for local models to gain national exposure through coverage in a national magazine. Also, a portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Girls Inc. of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.


    Date & Time: Saturday, October 31st, 2015. Doors open at 8 pm. Masquerade fashion show will start at 9:30pm. Costume after party until 2am.


    Location: Cru, 1847 Columbia Rd. NW, Washington, D.C. 20009 (Adams Morgan)


    Attendees: We are expecting approximately 300 attendees.


    Cost: Pricing for advance tickets will vary from $15 (during limited early-bird promotional pre-sale) to $25. Cost may increase on the day of the event.


    Attire: Dress to impress: Costume or Masqued Attire preferred.


    Special Details: The highly anticipated runway fashion show will be a competition, in which attendees will vote for their favorite designer, and the winner’s designs will be featured in an upcoming edition of Blockz Mayhem. After the fashion show, there will be a costume party with DJs spinning the latest in hip-hop and R&B. Also, Blockz Mayhem and other talent scouts will be in attendance looking for new faces. There will be fun costume contests throughout the evening, and guests will enjoy a free food buffet as well as an open bar and/or free drink specials for the first hour or two. Guests will also have the opportunity to receive free body painting and/or airbrush tattoos during the event.


    Giving Back: Girls Inc. DC is a local non-profit whose mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold so they can become healthy, educated and independent women who will make their own valuable contributions to society.
