About the event
Roaring twenties-themed Halloween costume ball is the FSH Society's first gala in Los Angeles. It will be held at the beautiful Cicada Club on Sunday evening October 18, 2015, and will feature a costume ball with big band music, a Halloween costume contest, silent and live auctions, and musical entertainment hosted by Glee star Max Adler.
The net revenue generated will be used to fuel research by the world’s foremost researchers working on facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). The FSH Society, rated by Charity Navigator as one of America’s “Ten Charities Worth Watching,” has spearheaded key breakthroughs in FSHD, the most common form of muscular dystrophy, which affects some 870,000 people worldwide. These patients and their families are counting on us to lead the way to treatments and a cure. Your financial support is crucial and will be well spent, with direct and measurable results.
