    THE DO-RITE COLLECTIVE'S 2015 CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE

    12/19/15 6pm-11pm


    MAIN OBJECTIVE: To positively impact our local community through art.



    EVENT OBJECTIVE: To collect and donate as many toys as possible for children in difficult situations.


    HOW?

    By collaborating with our community in the following areas:

    • Food/drink

      • Local restaurants

      • Food trucks

    • Art

      • Local artists in both paint and print

    • Music

      • Local bands, artists, DJs, and musicians

    • Local businesses
      • retail
      • service-based

    By collaborating with entities in each of these areas, we will be able to greatly extend the reach of our message and objective, while also providing a wide platform for our event partners to deliver theirs as well.


    EVENT SPECIFICS:

    12/19 6pm-11pm

    Brea, CA

    -Food/drinks, art exhibition, games/activities begin at 6pm

    -Live music begins at 8pm

    -Cover charge discount if you bring a new, unopened toy or a donation receipt from one of our collection centers




    UPDATES:

    • We've partnered with two non-profit organizations to be able to maximize our flexibility and incentives for our sponsors and donors
    • We've secured a local food truck to provide food for our patrons and participants
    • We've secured a talent line-up to provide entertainment for our patrons and participants
    • We've established two donation centers to receive donations now so we can maximize our reach and ultimately our impact
