A Beautiful Spring: Beauty Brunch will help promote and crowdfund for a new business concept. Learn more about the start-up below. 

Mission: The Sanctuary's mission is to provide Inclusive Luxury. With your help, we will create an atmosphere where everyone feels pampered and valued, regardless of background, ethnicity, or gender.

The primary focus is to cater to the needs and preferences of black and brown people. Many products and services can harm black and brown skin or hair, we are committed to using only high-quality, safe, and suitable products and hiring experts with a proven track record of servicing people of color. The Sanctuary will provide beautiful, high-end overnight accommodations so people traveling can make the most of their visit and locals can have a great "staycation" option. The plans for the property also include an event space and a small brunch cafe.

Briana Goodwin-Haines

My name is Briana Goodwin-Haines, and I am an entrepreneur, a proud black woman, and a mother to a mischievous toddler. I work full-time as a marketing professional for a non-profit organization. At the same time, I am taking classes, attending seminars, and reading everything I can to help me achieve my dream of opening the Sanctuary Inn & Spa LLC in the Finger Lakes region of New York in 2026.
