About the event
No stranger to public speaking, Mark Thompson from Stargazing Live, This Morning and Radio Five is embarking on perhaps the most ambitious live science show ever undertaken.
In October 2015 Mark will be presenting his 24 Hour Space Spectacular at the Royal Institution in London! The event, which is being arranged in aid of Marie Curie will take audiences on an ambitious and fascinating journey around the entire Universe in the time it takes the Earth to spin once on its axis.
During half term and as a grand finale event for World Space Week Mark will present 24 x 40 minute lectures on a whole host of topics from planets to exoploanets, stars to black holes and the history of space travel to the fate of the Universe. Tickets will be sold for each of the shows throughout the 24 hour period which hopes to raise in excess of £40,000 for charity.Why should you sponsor?
