Friends of Kids with Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of, cancer and blood-related diseases. Our mission is to be an advocate for these special kids providing them and their families with the educational, emotional, and recreational support needed as a result of the long hours of chemotherapy, illness and isolation.
All proceeds from this event, including sponsorships, directly funds programs, such as tutoring, scholarships, art & music therapies, patient gifts, and much more!
Kim WisdomKim Wisdom, Volunteer and Events Coordinator
Kim earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Fontbonne University and graduated from Lindenwood University with a master’s in Nonprofit Administration. She is a seasoned volunteer and served Friends as a member of the Trivia Night Planning Committee prior to hire. She is passionate about supporting Friends’ mission through volunteer and fundraising efforts!
