About the event

The annual Ocean City Jazz Fest is presented by the non-profit, the Ocean City Beach Citizens Council, located in North Topsail Beach, NC.  The vision of the festival is to showcase the event and increase its positive impact on Topsail Island and the broader area. Enhance the festivals commitment to being the destination site for tourism. Create unique memories for our attendees and stay culturally and artistically grounded. The festival started as a small community gathering of 100 residents and friends at the community center. The concert was received extremely well and the idea was born to produce and expand it to promote the awareness of the community's impactful history, fundraise, and educate the broader area about the American art form of jazz.  The Ocean City Jazz Festival is committed to presenting the gold-standard of jazz by producing a showcase event that raises an appreciation of the genre of jazz, fosters economic growth, unites artists and attendees, and inspire a new generation culturally through the history of the Ocean City Beach Community.
