About the event
The Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce is a small nonprofit organization committed to serving the underserved in business. On April 8,9,10, 2016, in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of our Women’s Empowerment Seminar, we are hosting our first 3 Day Women’s Conference, to be held at the American Bank Center, Corpus Christi, TX.
Our annual event focuses on ‘Empowering Women to Excel, In Mind, Body and Spirit’, where high school and college students, and women of all walks of life-all ethnicities come together to engage in health issues, preventive care and business initiatives. The 2016 conference will bring together several hundred women statewide, and beyond, to engage in these topics, and more.
We are seeking sponsorships to help defray the costs of this historical event. Each year, our goal is to sponsor several students and women who live in underserved communities so that they may attend the annual conference, as health issues are certainly rampant in these areas. Likewise, we would like to continue that goal by offering free admission to a large majority of women who live here in Corpus Christi. Hence our Sponsorship search. Although a very small chamber, we are committed to doing big things in and for the community, especially for Blacks and minorities. We too hope you will follow our passion and help us make this event successful.
