About the event
The Burning River Kubb Club and Country Kubb : The Outdoor Lawn Game are happy to announce the first Ohio Kubb Championship!
This is a charity event designed for all skill levels and no knowledge of the game is necessary. It is a great way to learn the game, support local charities and have a lot of fun.
Kubb (pronounced koob) is a lawn game where the object is to knock over wooden blocks, known as 'kubbs', by throwing wooden batons at them. Kubb can perhaps be described as a combination of bowling and horseshoes with significantly more strategy.
We are trying to raise awareness for our sport in an effort to increase the participation in the area. Last fall we had our first organized event with 17 participants. We're expecting more than 100 this year!
As part of the awesomeness, BRK has invited Oddmall to participate in the festivities.
