Rural Leader Magazine is a publication dedicated to highlighting everyday people doing extraordinary things nationally and abroad. Now, in its sophomore year, we are excited to honor forty young leaders in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia during the 2015 Forty under 40 Honors Friday, September 4th at 11: 30 AM at First United Methodist Church of Americus.
Our theme is Rising Stars of Rural America-Above and Beyond. The forty chosen honorees will be featured in the September/October 2015 issue. (Visit http://joom.ag/6y8b to view the 2014 honorees.) The top four will be featured on the cover, and the winner announced during the luncheon honors.
We are pleased to extend to you an opportunity to share in this momentous occasion through sponsorship. Your sponsorship will provide the needed resources to recognize these forty deserving leaders and to heighten awareness through the publication of the many great things occurring in small communities.
First, let me tell you more about the publication. Rural Leader Magazine is a free bi-monthly digital magazine initially launched in March 2014 with an aim to highlight leaders in small rural communities nationally and abroad. During the first two weeks, the publication received over 5,200 views in 18 countries including the United States, Brazil, Afghanistan, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Netherlands, China, Columbia, Germany, Algeria, South Africa, France, Bolivia, Canada, Spain, Ireland, Israel, and the Philippines!
In addition to the Forty under 40 honors, we specialize in stories of everyday people doing exceptional work in small rural communities. For instance:
o Under 20 Honors: Once quarterly and now annually, we also recognize distinguished high school and college freshman students under 20 who have made outstanding academic achievements and service to community.
o Best Small Town Restaurant: We recognize bi-monthly mom and pop establishments. Nominations are accepted ongoing online.
o Small Town America’s Most Influential-The 100: One hundred most influential leaders in small communities throughout the U.S. are featured in the November/December issue.
