About the event
Hello, my name is Yatziry Guerra. I am 17 years old, I currently attend Grand Rapids Community College. I would love to attend Kendall College of Arts and Designs; the upcoming year, which includes me to have a portfolio made with my designs. I believe a runway would be a great way to show my ideas on clothing I make and to help me build my portfolio.
My goal is to reach $1,500 for the fabric that will be used to make the clothing! There will be approximately over 200 people at the event. The runway is a public event. At the event we will have a box for people who would like to donate used or new clothes for children who are in need of clothes for school. As well as for the used clothes I will be working with the children to redesign it, if they would like. The event will be announced on a radio and on a newspaper around Grand Rapids, MI area. The models will also be passing out flyers when it gets closer to the event.
