About the event

We, Punjabi Natak Academy have been associated with Punjabi plays since 1958, we have staged numerous plays in various parts of world during all these years. Hard work and perfection has always been our sole motto in our performances whether it be a light and sound project, costume drama,  realistic plays or any Street plays. 

We this time have prepared a solo artist performance of 45 mins which explores all the aspects of a love story budding under harsh circumstances of caste system in India. The situations though cruel in real but are presented in a comic way showing the indifference between the rich and poor. Mannat the girl talked about in the play proves her love by sacrificing her life. The play has been written, directed and performed by Padam Sindhra. It has been already staged in Chandigarh and a few cities of Punjab.
