About the event
We write you, as fellow tennis enthusiasts and tournament directors, to let you know of an opportunity that may interest you and your company. The East County Community Tennis Association is located at your local Helix High School. We are currently voted the tennis club of the year in all of San Diego!
We will be hosting our 1st Annual Taquio Classic April 8th-10th, 2016. This is an adult tennis tournament that will attract hundreds of tennis players, fans and families to the club. We invite you to participate as a sponsor of this event, the premier tennis competition in our region. We expect to have a minimum of 200 entrants for this tournament, as it ranges in levels of competition.
Proceeds of the tournament will support disadvantaged junior tennis players in our community who have promising tennis futures at the college or even professional levels. Many players do not have the resources to obtain necessary training/coaching or to attend regional competitions. A tennis scholarship is their best chance to earn a college education and ECCTA is here to help them achieve that. In addition, some of our proceeds would fund free tennis clinics for seniors to aid in preventing Alzheimer’s and free clinics for children with special needs.
Attached is a fact sheet about the tournament, and a description of the various sponsorship opportunities and benefits. In addition to the specific benefits associated with individual sponsorship levels, sponsors will enjoy increased name recognition and goodwill in the local community. The total sponsorship package offers exposure that can be more directly targeted, more effective, and less costly than traditional advertising.
