1st Annual "Don't Sleep" Music Showcase 2016,

About the event

Hello !
My name is Shevon Mckitty, 
I am holding a music showcase called "Don't Sleep" for this March 2016. For 10 artists around the city. The concept of "Don't Sleep" is simple and straightforward, it is to promote and provide a platform for young and up coming artist from around the GTA. This will be a free show. All the performers are going to be artists that are not getting the attention they deserve and are getting "Slept On". No artist will be bigger than the other and all artists will be on the same level and same stage as one another chasing the same thing! the target audience is anywhere from 18-55. 

"Don't Sleep" will be held at Young & Dundas Square. Young & Dundas Square is a huge and very popular venue and will be like a big break for these artists. What better place to gain exposure than in the busy heart of the city? especially with Toronto Being such a popular city at the moment and a lot of new talent being discovered everyday.

A lot of different people will definitely be coming out to support the artists like friends, family and fans etc. On top of it all, it is a free event and at a place that's hard to ignore when walking or driving past so we can definitely expect people to walk by and just end up staying for the show as well. 


We are looking for a sponsor to help fund the event. A sponsor that sees a great opportunity to promote themselves and also gain new business and exposure from being a part of "Don't Sleep".
