About the event
We are launching a calendar to celebrate women and to bring awareness to CERVICAL CANCER. The calendars and sponsors will generate revenue that will be used to provide 150 women with free of cost PAPS SMEARS at a local clinic.
Why should you sponsor?
Pap smears are the main way in which women discover any abnormalities and lead to the early detection and ultimately the prevention of the spread of HPV and CERVICAL CANCER. A high number of of women go without testing for hpv and cervical cancer due to low funds and lack of insurance and as a result alot of women end up with cervical cancer in late stages, sometimes deadly.
We want to be able to provide free paps to 150 women, these tests save lives.
VISLEYN LOPEZIam just a cervical cancer survivor trying to help save lives of other owmen by spreding awareness and launching campaigns to provide free paps. I am a mother of 2, a wife, a daughter and an older sister and my mission is to aid the early detection and prevention of cervical cancer and HPV. I am 33 years old and I am a chef who runs her own catering company.
