The11th Annual Florida Bat Festival is a local Gainesville event held every fallon the beautiful grounds of Lubee Bat Conservancy. This free event is expectedto attract approximately 5,000 enthusiasticvisitors from around the state and country. This year’s festival will be held Saturday,October 24th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Weprovide education programs to home-school, public, private, and scouting groups throughoutAlachua County and north central Florida, including special free events for under-served and at-risk youths to ensure everyone in the community has theopportunity to learn about the importance of bats, conservation, and environmentalresponsibility. In 2014, our on-site educational tours, outreach programs, andannual festival reached over 13,000 children and adults throughout thecommunity. Our educational reach throughonline media connects with hundreds ofthousands a year. We also work withlocal and global conservation partners to protect at-risk species and theirecosystems through positive community engagement.
We wouldlike to invite you to support the 2015 Florida Bat Festival through corporatesponsorship.
