About our event

Decades of research now point to emotional intelligence as the critical factor that sets star performers apart from the rest of the pack.

Emotional intelligence is the “something” in each of us that is a bit intangible. It affects how we manage behavior, navigate social complexities, and make personal decisions that achieve positive results.

Cognitive intelligence in a given field or industry is crucial for all workers to have. However, intelligence goes far beyond an IQ. Emotional intelligence, or the ability to be aware of and understand your and others' emotions, is just as important.

The clincher is, the World Economic Forum in their 2017 Jobs Report identified Emotionial Intelligence as one of the top 10 skills employeers will seek in the 2020 - worldwide.

This conference will address the what of emotional intelligence but its application accross a broad spectrum of occupations. It will also serve as a starting point for some, a refreshers for others and offer new and innovative approaches for practitioneers.
